Practical exploration of college students' ideological and political education and cultural self-improvement in the information age is the focus of this paper. Cultural awareness is essentially the comprehension of cultural values and awareness of local culture. It is not only the spiritual cornerstone of cultural inheritance and innovation, but also the confidence to calmly deal with exchanges and conflicts between different cultures.
