Refined palm oil was neutralized with CaO (0.017 N) solution and to prepare the transesterification reaction with NaO and methanol. The experimental results: (i) the highest yield (98%), (ii) very low content % FFA (0.05%), (iii) kinematic viscosity was obtained with methanol to oil 3:1, reaction time 30 min and temperature at 60 ºC.
