Calibration of standard weights requires the determination of their magnetic properties which should be within specific limits. This research aims to study the manufacturing process that may influence the magnetic properties beside studying magnetic properties change of standard weights due to exposure to a magnetic field at calibration location. Estimation of uncertainty value in mass measurement is also discussed and magnetic properties of standard weights changing. The obtained results show that the magnetic properties lead to sufficient errors in mass measurements.
